Our externallyand internally mounted machines, designed and manufactured to 1509001 qualitystandards, are capable of facing, turning, grooving and weld preparation. They are lightweight, strong and flexible and most are pneumatically driven for use in hazardous areas.

In addition we are able to machine hub profiles, the front and back face of heat exchangers, oval man ways, oval hand holes and sealing surface of pressure vessels and boilers. Finished machine surfaces can be flat, recessed, spigotted, raised, face or ring grooved and surface finishes from line to gramophone.

For in-situ milling we use purpose build two and three dimensional machine that are suitable for the milling of pump and motor bed plates, heat exchanger division plates, including external and internal keyways in shafts and bores, hatch covers and square flange machining.

Using a wide range of purpose built external mounted cutting equipment, we are able to cut pipe of any diameter and wall thickness as well as excavating and removing defective weld materials. If required, the remaining pipe or vessel ends can be profiled and prepared for welding. The machines are engineered to cut and bevel pipe, machine shafts, bore, grind, end-prep and more. Split frame clamshells are highly portable split frame lathes ideally suited for machining application within new construction, decommissioning, component replacement, fabrication and refurbishment industries. The split frame clamshells is engineered to operate safely and accurately even in the most demanding environments and critical applications. The rugged fixed base, steel pinion gear and high bearing count within each machine result in a rugged combination ready to perform when called upon. The NB Clamshell series (Narrow Body) are designed with a lower profile for reduced weight and increased functionality in confined work spaces. Portable NB clamshell series are idealwhen space is at a premium. Each of the machines resulting narrow body low profile designed make the NB series the perfect choice in tight space or if obstruction are present.
